Dream Into Being

Backstory

About The Project

In 2020, the Trifecta Movie Project was born from a dream the founder had several years prior … a vivid vision of three pioneering female artists from the founder’s own community. A single mom and former teacher, she was captivated by the idea of these women blazing their own paths in traditionally-male artistic spaces. What lessons did they have to share with future generations?

Although the founder faced significant personal challenges that nearly derailed the project, it remained a story she couldn’t abandon. Filming for *Dream Into Being* began in February 2022, and with the support of more than 80 donors and a local arts grant, the 40-minute film will debut in April 2025 after three years of miraculous coincidences, tenacity and hard work.

Focusing on themes of perseverance, self-awareness, creativity, and community building, we hope this documentary will inspire young people to see new possibilities and take courageous steps toward their own dreams.

About The Creator

Ali is a former middle school teacher, a proud mother, and someone who believes deeply in the power of community.  Always open to new opportunities, she embraces saying “yes” because it often leads to unexpected learning and growth.

Throughout this project, she’s learned invaluable lessons— particularly that the key to success lies in walking through the doors that open, asking thoughtful questions and being attentive to the answers, and navigating setbacks with resilience. Her journey is a reminder that when we balance ambition with patience and adaptability, we can achieve more than we ever thought possible.
